As advanced as WM (Western Medicine) is today, it is astounding how costly US medical expenses have become, yet sometimes efficacy is poor. Many patients have to endure diseases throughout their life while relying on expensive drugs. U.S. health care spending grew 3.9% in 2017, reaching $3.5 trillion or $10,739 per person, which was more than that of all other nations combined in the world. As a share of the nation’s GDP (Gross Domestic Product), health spending accounted for 17.9%, making it the largest expenditure of the government. In 2013, it was estimated that up to 26% of all U.S. bankruptcies filed were primarily due to medical costs.
Although WM has developed sophisticated machines that could pinpoint cause of diseases, treatment is far from satisfactory. As an alternative medicine, TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) has been serving Chinese people for over 2,500 years and is supported by numerous ancient works and cases. Effective treatment methods besides CHM (Chinese Herbal Medicine) are available, such as acupuncture, cupping, massage, and moxibustion, and the cost is often minimal compared to WM.
Due to the high cost of WM, it is not rare for people to try everything possible avoiding hospital visit, and often endure pain and discomfort. Here we introduce some treatment methods of TCM, e.g. moxibustion, that are both effective and affordable, so hopefully people would no longer have to put up with uncessary pain and discomfort.
Moxibustion spa/club/lounge has become a prevailing place of health maintenance in China in recent years, while is still relatively novel in other countries. We believe it would become increasingly popular in the future.
We provide moxibustion service in the DFW area in Texas, US, and would love to help people in other part of the world get better understanding of this versatile and cost effective method and benefit from it. While it is our goal to expand our physical service to more areas, the progress may slower than expected due to various circumstances. However, we may provide remote consultation to help people perform it on their own, and supply equipment and material as needed.
